Arsenal manager, Mikel Arteta has said the team is responsible for Kai Havertz’s slow start to life at Arsenal.
Arteta sanctioned a £65 million move for Havertz, despite the German not impressing at Chelsea.
With veteran Granit Xhaka leaving for Bayer Leverkusen in the summer, Havertz has often found himself in a deeper role in midfield.
Since his arrival at the Emirates, the 24-year-old has scored only one goal and provided one assist so far.
Speaking to the media on Friday, Arteta was keen to point towards collective responsibilities when asked about Havertz’s poor start.
“I’m not going to put it on any individual. We are a team,” Arteta said.
